Here are the speakers for the past 2008-09 academic year



  Giovanni Badino, professor of Physics at the University of Torino, glaciospeleologist and one of the world's greatest explorers, will talk about his expeditions in Patagonia, Antarctica, Amazonia, Chiapas and Central Asia. In collaboration with the
  Romano Prodi, former President of the European Commission and Italian Prime Minister. In collaboration with Italian Studies at Oxford.
  Alessandro Bergonzoni, comedian, writer. Author of Le Balene Restino Sedute, Milan, Mondadori 1989; Il Grande Fermo e i suoi Piccoli Andirivieni, Milan, Garzanti 1995 and Opplero, Storia di un Salto, Milan, Garzanti 1999.
